Our founder, Captain Jenn McDonald, has spent over a decade as a USCG licensed Captain, American Sailing Instructor, and avid sailboat racer, both offshore and around the buoys. After years of watching certification graduates fall to the wayside, boat owners sell due to lack of use, and attempting to inform individuals about who to hire for various projects and needs, she is committed to developing an information hub for sailors of every experience level to provide a more comprehensive guide to sailing opportunities, community involvement, continuing education, and to provide better support for marine industry businesses and boat owners alike.
